ANDY ZUBER

Playing Career:

In High School, Andy caught for Panther Creek High School and was the Varsity Captain his Junior and Senior seasons. In his senior year Panther Creek made their second ever Postseason appearance and advanced to the second round of the State Playoffs. Andy hit .347 his senior year.

Andy played his college Freshman season at Wheaton College(IL) in the spring of 2017. As a Freshman, Andy appeared in 23 games and started 11, despite his season being shortened by injury. He posted a .229 average in 48 at-bats. Behind the plate Andy posted  .750 Caught Stealing percentage while also posting a team high among position players .992 Fielding percentage.

After his Freshman year Andy transferred back home and began catching for Wake Tech in the fall of 2017. Midway through the fall Andy decided to pursue a career in the military and enlisted in the Army Reserves. He is currently a Criminology student at NC State and coach of the TPA 12u team.
